A toast in style among gleaming hood ornaments and elegant haute couture gowns: For one exclusive October evening, the guests of SEA CLOUD SPIRIT and SEA CLOUD II had the opulent Málaga Automotive Museum all to themselves.

Sprawling across almost 8,400 square yards, the Museo Automovilístico y de la Moda impressively demonstrates its dedication to exceptional luxury. Car seat upholstery made of ostrich leather, pearl-embroidered hats, perfume bottles with silver details: The museum in a former tobacco factory not far from the harbor transports its visitors into a dazzling world.

More than 120 automobiles from various eras, from the late 19th century to the Roaring Twenties and the powerful road cruisers of the 1950s, take visitors on a journey through time. The perfectly restored vintage cars with household names such as Bentley, Bugatti, Mercedes, or Rolls Royce are juxtaposed with selected works of art and vintage creations by great fashion designers from the houses of Chanel, Dior, Givenchy, Balmain, or Prada. An enticing concept and true invitation to explore – which the guests of our two windjammers happily took advantage of.

Exclusively for SEA CLOUD CRUISES, the extraordinary location had opened its doors for an evening. After a champagne reception with drinks and snacks, the visitors strolled through the exhibition, accompanied by the swinging sound of the Golden Twenties – the live band in the lounge knew how to set the mood in style. “I absolutely loved that some even ventured onto the dance floor before the end of the evening,” said a delighted participant.

To those who were unable to join the sailing cruise last October, in 2023 another opportunity will present itself to experience the automobile museum as part of an exclusive evening event. Next fall, the SEA CLOUD SPIRIT will return to Málaga during its Steinway Music Cruise – inviting guests to an exceptional private concert at the Museo Automovilístico y de la Moda.
